Sounds really cool! Great to know opportunities to research exist, Uni research environment had made me loathe traditional research environments.
As a new grad my gripe is that with Ai its easy enough to get the high level picture and even the specifics if you know exactly what to ask for.
However in professional context to ask the right questions to figure out what skills and domain are worth investing you either need to have some experience in that particular niche/know people who are competent and love that domain. Both of those are again difficult to come by :(
Idk I always wanted to be part of lossfunk, but the thing is I am not an traditional researcher I am an engineer who loves exploring ways of how AI can produce what we called "ai with a taste", the taste part, If yu can suggest what I can do to get in touch which program should I apply to would be lot helpful
I really like this direction especially the the sharing of prompts that make it possible to explore the future of citations
where we can do fine grained attribution to what role the human and AI played
whatever the future academia is it can do better in setting the incentives towards truth seeking
rather than journal papers/ideas the outputs can be working prototypes since actuation is cheap
Very impressive. Excited to see what lies ahead.
There are a few "AI-ish but beyond efforts" on progress (https://rootsofprogress.org/), on truth (https://www.cosmos-institute.org/), on alignment adjacent (https://www.mindthefuture.info/)
yes, these institutes are very inspiring
Good one! Excited to see you build this from ground up!
Any idea when you're planning to bring internships back on the table?
